I'm 'Old School,' Not Conservative, When It Comes To Self Defense.

I'm a traditional or 'old school' Brother
My views on self defense on the surface may seemingly parallel those of the majority population philosophy called conservatism.
We, myself and conservatives, seek to conserve different things.
My second amendment stance has nothing to do with the colonists who founded this country for their own people I.might add, not necessarily mine.
I apologize to integrationists among us but personal protection while Black demands brutal honesty.
Self defense for me is rooted in opposing a public/private partnership that dehumanized enslaved persons, and their progeny.
An implicit bias in majority population self defense advocacy is the concept of arming themselves first against uprisings by enslaved persons and since, to guard themselves from enslaved persons descendants still stigmatized as innate criminals.
When I say 'self defense is self love,' it comes from an experience far removed from that of a majority population whose conservative wing legislated concealed carry permits and recently, permit less or constitutional carry, as stealth mobilization of their populace, if we're honest, primarily against stigmatized descendants of enslaved persons.
Since they can't write those descendants out of these laws (yet), I urge fellow descendants of enslaved persons to avail ourselves of these laws too.
We can't pretend our historic claim to self defense is the same as that of majority population conservatism- it isn't.
Their conservation of the right to keep and bear arms must be met by our arming ourselves for protection against weaponized stigmatization-police brutality and vigilantism-many majority population members on the right see as worth conserving.
Arming ourselves takes on new urgency as those I call 'community traitors' use our roads like pirates do the high seas to carjack often lone women, commit home invasions or open fire at or near hallowed historically Black college and university (HBCU) homecomings, among other special events.
My self defense support as an 'old school' Brother is starkly different compared to motives of majority population conservatives.
I and my community bear the stigma against which majority population conservatism arms itself, consciously or otherwise.
The truly 'colorblind' among them must concede this fact seen in viral anti Black social media posts by influencers in their ideology.
In turn, I call for us to protect ourselves against this historic aggression-and community crime enabled by the left wing of the majority population.
On this and other issues, I'm not left nor right-I'm Black.
And in the name of that Blackness I seek to conserve personal protection against ancestral mania targeting our personhood.
I'm 'old school' like beloved ancestors Malcolm X and Huey P. Newton, not conservative, when it comes to self defense, armed or not.
Cap Black.
