Folks who like rowdy rap crowds balk at the 400+ NOPD officer deployment projected for the upcoming NBA YoungBoy concerts scheduled for Sunday and Monday

I'm balking too- at how already underserved districts will be deprived of officers to respond to calls for service as criminals take advantage of this big event.

If we avoid a mass shooting around the venue or outside bars where patrons gather after the concert, we should consider ourselves very, very blessed because urban mass shooting trends this month are NOT in our favor.

By the way, I type this not as a some right wing 'professional critic of Blackness.'

I'm actually a 'pro Black' critic of those commiting violent treason against the community. 

I've created 'safe fun' at countless Black and Black serving venues and events so my concern comes from experience instead of propaganda read off of some conservative social media account agitating against Black people.

  Happy Founder's Day to the Black Panther Party! I was an infant when the party was founded on October 15, 1966. Their imagery and survival programs inspired my later #borrowabrother community safety creation outreach,  #halthunger food outreach to our homeless and 'almost homeless' working class and recently, #prayerfulpanther advocacy. As beloved ancestor Malcolm X inspired them, so have he and this first generation of Panthers inspired me, including local original New Orleans chapter member beloved Brother Malik Raheem.
