Happy Founder's Day to the Black Panther Party!


I was an infant when the party was founded on October 15, 1966.

Their imagery and survival programs inspired my later #borrowabrother community safety creation outreach,  #halthunger food outreach to our homeless and 'almost homeless' working class and recently, #prayerfulpanther advocacy.

As beloved ancestor Malcolm X inspired them, so have he and this first generation of Panthers inspired me, including local original New Orleans chapter member beloved Brother Malik Raheem.

We can never be them but can continue what they started!

I am not a preacher nor a holy roller. I Just Hope We Don't Have A Mass Shooting Leading Up To Or After the NBA YoungBoy Concert In New Orleans.
